More Letters.

One more exam down, which makes 5 out of 7 toward MCSE, and also means its very-own certification.

After all, we here at jackechambersdotcom are nothing if not secure.

Test #2 In The Books.

Here's proof that I passed Microsoft Certification Exam 70-270. It was hard. The final outcome was not pretty. But I passed, which is far-and-away the only thing that matters.

Want to read more about Microsoft Certification Exams? No you don't. Stop lying.

Wednesdays Are For Meetings. Zzz...

Often on Wednesdays (like today, for example) we have meetings at work. They are not enjoyable, not helpful, not productive, and not conducive to anything save juvenile snickering and the passing of notes. Note to management: No More Meetings.

At Least You Don't Live In Alaska.

While working on a user's computer the other day (just moments after being accused of trying to sell America out to the Muslims, whatever that means), I saw this mousepad, and realized that they had missed the most important part about what wolf-leaders do. Since wolves are leaders. Or leaders are wolves, which would explain a lot. I'm not really sure how corporate metaphor works anymore, to be honest...

"In Bloom" by Giampaolo Starship.

How badly were we robbed in a Rock Band competition at work a while back? So bad, that I don't even need to show you the other band's set -- just know that it was a boot-tread-ful of shite compared to ours.

They even railroaded us by having us go first, and by sabotaging our equipment, and still we shone. They can suck it.

We did get consolation prizes, though. So, whatever.

Mmm... Fresh Coffee...

So in case you hadn't heard, I'm a big believer in the tried-and-true theory of "you finished off that pot of coffee, you make another friggin' pot." When I say "theory," of course, I mean a solidly-supported set of basic understandings, based on years of research and observation, and not subject to discussion by people who believe in magic. So back the hell off.

Where was I?

Oh yeah -- the coffee. What the shit?!

This is even worse than the office humidity situation...

If I Can't Take... My Coffee Break...

So, true story: not 10 seconds after posting yesterday's coffee-related rant, I got up and went to get a cup. Well into the work day, with lots of coffee drinkers around, no one had put on a pot yet. In any given week, I make the first pot 4 out of 5 days, and probably make 2 out of every 3 pots.

Another person walked around with her cup and saw me opening the carafe. "Oh, is it not fresh?" "No, it just doesn't exist yet, you stupid whore, because nobody but me seems capable of putting together the ingredients to make more of the shit!" Then I slapped her. Still a true story. I think. I hadn't had any coffee yet, so I'm a little blurry on the details...

Is It So Frickin' Hard, People?

Hey... I could go for another cup of coffee. SSSPPPPPPPPSSSSSPPPPPPP...

It takes all of 60 seconds to make a pot of coffee up in this piece. I guess some folks' 60 seconds are just more valuable than others'...

BING BING BING - Public Address Message

Oh boy -- the latest singsong public address message (from the speaker right over my desk) telling me all about the exciting worship service that's about to start down in the chapel. I wonder what the bedridden patients do.
